What We Believe
We believe spiritual rebirth, salvation, is available only by faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ, who was and is fully GOD and fully man, that He lived a sinless life, was crucified for the sins of mankind, rose from the dead on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the throne of God until His return in glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
MidCities is a free church. As an independent, autonomous group, we develop all of our ministries and programs at the local level under the Lordship of Jesus Christ using the congregational method. The church supports missionaries and seminaries through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program.

Who We Are
Thank you for visiting the internet ministry of MidCities Baptist Church, The Grace Place. It is our joy that the Grace Place has been ministering to the communities of northern Orange County for over 70 years.
Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37).
You are invited to join us at The Grace Place. We have worship, Bible study, ministry, and fellowship for every age group. We would love to meet you this Sunday! Meet Our Staff
Don Adam
Senior Pastor
Pastor Don has been ministering at The Grace Place for over 25 years. He loves the LORD, people, and preaching and teaching God’s Word. He is devoted to caring for The Grace Place family and for those in the neighborhoods surrounding The Grace Place.
Salvador Magana
Spanish Pastor
Pastor Salvador has a heart for the Lord and our Spanish speaking community. He regularly visits and organizes children’s outreach activities in The Grace Place neighborhood. Pastor Salvador has a Master of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University.
David Gonzalez
Music Director
David loves praising the LORD through music. David also directs the Media Team which supports the online streaming of the Sunday worship services. While directing music at The Grace Place, David has earned his Masters in Music Composition from California Baptist University.
Keith Quan
Pastor OF dISCIPLESHIP AND OUTREACH
Hello! My name is Keith Quan. I rejoice in what Jesus is doing in people’s stories. Whether preaching sermons and leading the youth ministry, teaching Bible and philosophy at California Baptist University, counseling and praying with whoever God brings, or just meeting someone new, I enjoy connecting with people. I’m honored to welcome, encourage, and equip people to keep saying yes to Jesus at The Grace Place. I love coffee, boba, movies, board games, and pickleball on dates with Ashley and our time with my daughter Claire.
Melanie Rhoades
Director of Family Ministries
Melanie has been a member of MidCities for almost 40 years. She met her husband Paul there serving in AWANA, where they continue to serve. Their oldest, Eleanor, was one of the first to finish the AWANA program, and soon their youngest, Thomas, will, too. Paul and Melanie also volunteer in youth, where you’ll find their sons, Henry and George. Recently she started the “In Between” ministry for adults at MidCities. She has a heart for helping people find a place in the community. If you’re interested in serving, want to join a Bible study, or connect with a small group, Melanie would love to hear from you.
